Invitation messages
Invitation messages for your brother's wedding
Short answer
A brother's wedding invitation message should give his name and the bride's, the date and city, and which functions the reader is invited to, with the baraat time if they are joining it. Send it from your own number to your own friends and colleagues, add one line about your brother, and put the card or link in the same message.

When your brother gets married, you are suddenly the person everyone asks: what time does the baraat leave, is the reception the same day, can they bring the kids. A brother's wedding invitation message from you can answer most of that in one go. Below are messages for your friends, colleagues, relatives and the family group, written for a sister or a brother to send.
- What to write and for your friends
- For the baraat and for colleagues
- For relatives, from a sister, from a brother and in Hindi
What should a brother wedding invitation message say?
Your brother's name first and the bride's second, the date, and the city. Then the part that matters on the groom's side: when the baraat leaves, and whether the reception is the same night or a day later. Guests from the groom's side often come to more functions than they expect, so be clear about which ones you mean.
The messages from your parents to the wider family are in the wedding invitation messages guide. The ones below are yours.
