An invite goes to family, friends and elders, often forwarded well beyond the first group. Keep it to what you would happily show all of them. Use your own photos, or ones you have permission for.
1.Who these rules are for
These rules apply to everything on an invite: names, wording, photos, songs and any notes for guests. They sit alongside the terms. Breaking them can get an invite taken down.
2.Photos of people
- Use photos you took or have permission to use. A photographer's pictures need the photographer's say.
- Everyone recognisable in a photo should be fine being on the invite.
- Photos of children are the parent's or guardian's choice.
- Don't use photos of celebrities, or anyone, to suggest they are part of your event when they aren't.
3.Songs
You can add a song from YouTube. It plays through YouTube's own player, and YouTube's rules apply to it. You can't upload audio files to Aaiyega. Pick songs that suit a family audience; a song whose owner blocks embedding won't play.
4.Not allowed on an invite
- hate or insults aimed at any religion, caste, community, gender or person;
- nudity or sexual content;
- violence, threats, or anything that puts someone in danger;
- anything illegal, including content that promotes illegal activity;
- someone else's private details without their say, such as their phone number or address;
- fake events, or requests for money in someone else's name;
- links that lead guests to scams, malware or anything harmful.
5.Reporting an invite
If an invite breaks these rules, or shows you or your photo without your say, email its link to hey@aaiyega.com and tell us what is wrong. You don't need an account. We look at every report within 24 hours.
6.What we do
If an invite breaks a rule, we hide it or take it down and tell its maker why. Where a fix is enough, such as removing one photo, we ask for that first. An invite taken down for breaking these rules is not refunded, and repeated breaks can close the account. If something is illegal, we may also report it as the law requires.
